Chyba czas ruszyc tyłki do zwiedzania ;)
You may think that after seing
Iquacu waterfalls nothing more here will amaze you. We decided to
give it a try next day before getting into our bus to Buenos Aires: I
went to visit Park of Birds and Matej to second largest in the world
damn Itaipu.
After going back, each of us was
more than happy. However I'm still trying to understand Matej's
fascination for piece of beton because of which waterfalls bigger
than one visited were destroyed. And for bigger picture – imagine
that with amount of beton used to build damn you could easily make
highway from Lisbone to Moscov...
Other kind of fascination you
will find in a Parc of Birds. I am not a fun of zoological gardens
and putting animals in cages but for this one I need to make an
exeption. Here in huge cages builded within natural rainforest
enviromnent is a home for thousands of sometimes indangerous species
of birds. Many of them is ill and it was resqued from the smuglers.
They are treated with special care here. Cages have the passages
between each other and you can go inside to take a closer look and
have a big smile on yur face when you see tucans with their funny
peaks, colorfull big parrots or strange birds similar to roadrunners.

Both satisfied with the day we
went to the bus stop counting that bus which should take us to
capital of Argentina will appear. Th ticket we needed to buy already
in Franfurt as we discovered on flighticket the sentence that they may
not board you if you don't posses no return ticket from Brazil! Of
course when boarding obody actually was checking that and we were
left with vouchers for the ticket. Strangely cheap and from some
strange company – as we heard later from our couchsurfing hosts...
But we've made it! Bus came and
after couple of hours we were welcomed by lovely Claudia and Maxi in
Retiro Bus Station in Buenos Aires! Lovely cousin of Matej, her
friends and family will be our guides troughout the real face of the
city!
First days we spend on talks,
drinking mate and meetings – we've already been on one birthday
party and grill party! Well, maybe is time to kick our asses and go
to sightseeing? ;)
